In collaboration with the exhibition 3.5%: Our Voice, Our Gaze, poems read in spoken word format while cooking traditional Dominican dishes. I turn the cooking process into an invitation where the audience and I decolonize food together by starting a discussion and challenging how food is seen as an extension of colonial values about people of color.
